The overwhelmed
police and the desperation of the presidente -due to the players' refusal
to visit him, expressed the "power vacuum" that took place
during the festivities, carried out by the mass movement, which, in the events,
it called for itself without the tutelage of any bourgeois or bureaucratic
representative

Millions gained the streets to celebrate the world championship won by Argentina, but they were
left wanting to see the national team and Messi, because neither the Berni -security minister of Buenos Aires province- nor the CABA police
could guarantee the entry of the players to the city center , demonstrating
that they only serve to repress the workers and the people.
Twenty-one years
after the Argentinazo, another December 20, the people called themselves to
begin rehearsing the first chords of the approaching rebellion, without the
baton of any party or employer or bureaucratic organization. The national team,
which vibrated for several hours to the beat of that music, refused to occupy
the balcony of La Rosada (government palace), despite the pressure exerted by the “national and
popular” officials.
This is a huge
political event, because it detracts from the authority of those who continue
the work of the man (Juan Domingo Perón) who, many years ago, heard -from that same balcony-
"the most wonderful music..." To top it off, the operation organized
by the Aníbal police, Berni and Larreta (security ministers), failed miserably. An exemplary
demonstration of how ineffective these can be in the face of a massive
mobilization!
The resounding
refusal of the players to visit the government house meant a mess, probably
worse than the one suffered by Emanuel Macron, who was destroyed by the French
press for his demagogic appearance in the locker room, after the defeat of his
team against to the hosts of Messi, the "Dibu" and company.
The working class
and the people returned to the center of the political stage, despite the fact
that this flashing appearance was not expressed through a general strike or a
march for certain unsatisfied economic demands. However, the elementary
democratic demand, which acted as the trigger for this tremendous mobilization,
was to be close to the players of the national team.
Despite its
limits, the concentration was, in many aspects, better to that of 2001, not
only because of its massiveness, but also because of the situation of the
“security” forces, which were overwhelmed. In the end they tried to show some
authority, cracking down on a group of fringes! Its political character
-indirect or elliptical- was given by the players, who refused to stick to any
political leader, pro-government or opposition, an attitude, which in content,
is related to "let them all go".
This has been a
withering blow for the regime, which will surely be taken advantage of by the
mass movement, which has a very fine “nose” to detect the weakness of the class
enemy. Their reaction will be expressed in workers' and popular combats and,
also, in the results of the next elections, something that frightens the
representatives of the two main forces of the bourgeoisie.
