El homenaje a los Mártires de Chicago no puede ser virtual, sino en las calles

Si estuviéramos en medio de una guerra, con ejércitos de un lado y del otro combatiendo de manera directa, no le diríamos a la clase obrera que se “quede en casa”, evitando las balas y esperando que la contienda finalice para ver con qué bando burgués deberá enfrentarse después. ¡Todo lo contrario, le recomendaríamos que participe, cavando trincheras, pertrechándose con las armas correspondientes y dotándose de una política independiente de la burguesía! 

Eso es lo que hicieron Lenin, Trotsky y Rosa Luxemburgo, que frente a la Primera Guerra se dirigieron a los soldados de todos los frentes, pidiéndoles que no maten a sus hermanos de clase de otros países, sino que apunten los fusiles en contra de sus propios amos capitalistas. Algo parecido intentamos e intentaron hacer los revolucionarios más consecuentes en Medio Oriente, apoyando a la heroica resistencia siria, para, desde esa ubicación -principista- construir una alternativa socialista. 

Hoy por hoy, la mayor parte de la izquierda abandonó esa concepción, aceptando mansamente la política imperialista de los toques de queda, con excusas tales como la de “aplanar la curva de contagios”, facilitándole el trabajo a la burguesía, que está haciendo lo que hizo siempre: ¡Pasar a la ofensiva contra el movimiento de masas para frenar sus luchas, liquidar competidores e imponer un nuevo “reseteo” económico, destruyendo fuerzas productivas, como en las dos grandes guerras! 

Los trabajadores y los pueblos de todo el mundo reaccionaron más rápidamente que esta izquierda, cuyos dirigentes continúan actuando como “consejeros rojos de la OMS". Por eso, en todas partes están creciendo y extendiéndose las huelgas y las movilizaciones, como lo demuestran los heroicos y las heroicas combatientes de Myanmar, que enfrentan a la dictadura militar pro-china, construyendo barricadas y utilizando todo tipo de armas. 

Así también lo expresan los portuarios y las portuarias de Chile, que decretaron una huelga contra el ajuste de Piñera, llamando a construir un paro nacional, situación que va en el mismo sentido que la que se vive en las calles de Londres, donde miles acaban de marchar en contra de las restricciones. Esta es, irremediablemente, la tendencia general, que más temprano que tarde le quebrará el espinazo a los ataques contra las libertades de los de arriba, que están inmersos en su crisis más grande. 

En semejante contexto, la izquierda argentina, en vez de seguir el camino de Santiago de Chile, Londres o Myanmar, puso en pie actos vía zoom para conmemorar el Primero de Mayo. ¡Esto, en los hechos, mp es otra cosa que una ofensa a la memoria de los Mártires de Chicago, a quienes nunca se les hubiera ocurrido dejar de movilizarse, más allá de las dificultades que sufrían en ese período, debido a la endebles e inexperiencia propia y a la vitalidad de una burguesía que estaba transcurriendo una época de esplendor y crecimiento! 

Tanto el FITu, como el Nuevo MAS, el PSTu, las distintas formaciones anarquistas y otros sectores, harán un Primero de Mayo por internet, dejando de lado la posibilidad de marchar unificadamente contra el ajuste y los ajustadores. ¡La izquierda mayoritaria, adaptada hasta los tuétanos al parlamentarismo burgués, busca -objetivamente y más allá de la voluntad de sus dirigentes- congraciarse con los enemigos del proletariado, acatando una de sus principales recomendaciones! 

¡No es casual que buena parte de esa izquierda, durante el proceso revolucionario que explotó en Siria durante la Primavera Árabe, se excusó de intervenir alegando la “falta de alternativas independientes de la clase trabajadora”! Esa izquierda fue, por lo tanto, cómplice de la masacre perpetrada por el carnicero Bashar al Assad, que aprovechó las circunstancias para consolidarse en el poder asesinando a cientos de miles, con el apoyo activo del imperialismo ruso!

Convocamos a los luchadores y las luchadoras consecuentes a concurrir a nuestro acto -que tendrá lugar el sábado 1 de Mayo, a las 14.30 horas en la Plaza Constitución- rompiendo con estos partidos y sus políticas, para sumarse a la construcción de Convergencia Socialista, impulsando desde allí la cada vez más necesaria unidad de los revolucionarios y las revolucionarias consecuentes, de manera de construir el Estado Mayor de la Revolución que reclaman las actuales circunstancias.

The tribute to the Chicago Martyrs cannot be virtual, but on the street

If we were in the middle of a war, with armies on one side and the other fighting directly, we would not tell the working class to “stay home”, avoid the bullets and wait for the fight to end to see with which side will have to face later. On the contrary, we would recommend that workers participate, digging trenches, equipping themselves with the appropriate weapons and endowing with a policy independent of the bourgeoisie!

That is what Lenin, Trotsky and Rosa Luxemburg did, who in the face of the First War addressed the soldiers of all fronts, asking them not to kill their class brothers from other countries, but to point their rifles against their own capitalist masters. Something similar we tried and tried to make the revolutionaries more consistent in the Middle East, supporting the heroic Syrian resistance, in order to build, from that location -principist- a socialist alternative.

Today, most of the left abandoned that conception, meekly accepting the imperialist policy of curfews, with excuses such as "flattening the contagion curve", making it easier for the bourgeoisie, which is doing what that he always did: go on the offensive against the mass movement to stop their struggles, liquidate competitors and impose a new economic "reset", destroying productive forces, as in the two great wars!

Workers and poor peoples around the world reacted more quickly than this left, whose leaders continue to act as “red advisers to the WHO.” This is why strikes and mobilizations are growing and spreading everywhere, as demonstrated by the heroic and the heroic fighters of Myanmar, who face the pro-Chinese military dictatorship, building barricades and using all kinds of weapons.

This is also expressed by the dockers in Chile, who declared a strike against Piñera's adjustment, calling for the construction of a national strike, a situation that goes in the same direction as that experienced in the streets of London, where thousands march against the restrictions. This is, inevitably, the general trend, which sooner or later will break the back of the attacks against the freedoms of those above, who are immersed in their greatest crisis.

In such a context, the Argentine left, instead of following the road to Santiago de Chile, London or Myanmar, set up events via zoom to commemorate May Day. This, in fact, nothing more than an offense to the memory of the Chicago Martyrs, who would never have thought to stop mobilizing, despite the difficulties they suffered in that period, due to the weak e own inexperience and the vitality of a bourgeoisie that was passing a period of splendor and growth!

FITu, as the New MAS, the PSTu, the different anarchist formations and other organizations, will hold a May Day online, leaving aside the possibility of marching unifiedly against the adjustment and the adjusters. The majority left, adapted to the bone to bourgeois parliamentarism, seeks - objectively and beyond the will of its leaders - to ingratiate itself with the enemies of the proletariat, following one of its main recommendations!

It is not by chance that a large part of that left, during the revolutionary process that exploded in Syria during the Arab Spring, excused itself from intervening, alleging the “lack of independent alternatives for the working class”! That left was, therefore, an accomplice in the massacre perpetrated by the butcher Bashar al Assad, who took advantage of the circumstances to consolidate himself in power by assassinating hundreds of thousands, with the active support of Russian imperialism!

We call on the fighters and consequent fighters to attend our act -which will take place on Saturday, May 1, at 2.30 pm in the Plaza Constitución- breaking with these parties and their policies, to join the construction of Socialist Convergence, promoting from there the increasingly necessary unity of the revolutionaries and the consequent revolutionaries, in order to build the General Staff of the Revolution that the current circumstances demand.
